Welcome to your online coursework via Ellsworth Community College The following information is provided for your information in advance as a guideline to the course, but there is no action necessary on your part until the starting date of June 2nd, 2008. All of your class work will revolve around this website. Here's what you need to do to begin the class: 1. Send me an e-mail. List your name, why you are taking the course and what you hope to learn from the course. I will e-mail you with the registration access code to enter the course. Most of your links are protected by this registration access code. 2. Once you gain access, review your syllabus link. Please check the submission of your assignments policy and the expectations I have of you for this course. All instruction is governed by the IVCCD academic honor policies and student handbook guidelines. 3. Begin your coursework. Throughout our class, you will be asked to provide assignments back via email to your instructor. Please pay attention to the due dates for all assignments. You will receive graded results and comments as we continue through the course. Grades will usually be available once the due date has passed. 4. Assignments, quizzes, etc. should be sent to the class email address--proft_bell@yahoo.com I will also entertain questions from you at this email address. 5. Assignments are listed in the course content link at the left side of the course page. They usually will be available 1-2 weeks prior to the due date, but not earlier. 6. Make sure you have a dependable internet connection and email address that you are going to use for the class. I want to welcome you to the IVCCD internet experience. I look forward to your participation and involvement in the upcoming class--Professor Bell
